Role

Website Development, Digital Strategy, Content, Media & Marketing

Scittery Woods Townhomes is a 48-unit residential community in Falmouth, Maine, developed by Scittery Woods Partners, LLC. I was brought in to build the project’s website and establish a digital presence that could clearly explain the community, connect with prospective buyers, and grow alongside the development.

The Challenge

Scittery Woods had a lot of information to communicate. Prospective buyers needed to understand the homes, pricing, income qualifications, deed restrictions, financing opportunities, and the overall homeownership model.

At the same time, construction was underway and the project was generating new announcements, media coverage, construction updates, and buyer resources.

The goal was to bring all of that information together in a website that was clear, approachable, and easy to navigate.

What I Did

I designed and developed the website around the questions a prospective buyer is most likely to have. The site provides dedicated information about the project and qualification process, while the News section gives the development a place to publish ongoing construction updates, announcements, and press coverage.

I also built buyer interest and income verification forms into the site, creating a direct path from learning about the community to contacting the development team.

Beyond the website, my work has included:

  • Website design, development, and ongoing administration
  • SEO, performance, and technical optimization
  • Content creation and ongoing updates
  • Buyer interest and income verification forms
  • Construction and project photography
  • Groundbreaking event media coverage
  • Flyers and promotional materials
  • Construction signage and QR code development
  • Coordination with outside media and project partners

The website has continued to evolve as the project has moved from initial development into construction and active buyer outreach.

Results

The website has become an active source of information for prospective buyers and the community.

The Outcome

What began as a website development project has grown into an ongoing digital communications and marketing role for Scittery Woods Partners.

The website now serves as a central place for people to learn about the community, understand the opportunity, follow the project’s progress, access buyer resources, and make an inquiry—becoming an ongoing digital resource for the project, not just a static website launch.
