Push (2009): A Short Movie Review

Push is style over substance with two performances by a young Dakota Fanning and a pre-Captain America Chris Evans that are this film’s saving grace.

The plot is convenient, and it explains itself many times but doesn’t grab your attention long enough to understand or care about anything happening within the film.

Think Amazon’s new hit show The Boys but PG-13. Push lives between a blockbuster film and a popcorn flick, and nothing is wrong with that.

After seeing Push more than 10 times over the past decade, I pop the DVD in when I want to relax and unwind but don’t want to watch something utterly ridiculous.

Mediocre
